A well known British airline (Thomson) ,My favourite airline, is to be merged into TUI in the next 1-3 years. The merger between arkefly and TUI is currently taking place and next I believe it is JetairFly's turn to be merged.
When Thomson merge with TUI there will barely be any distinction between the many airlines in the TUI group.
I understand TUI's logic merging the groups together but I do wish they had kept them separate.
What's you're opinion?

The merger doesn't really bother me too much as Thomson itself came about from the merger of some of the big holiday airlines that I remember from when I started spotting, Britannia, Air 2000, Air UK Leisure etc, they are the ones I miss seeing.
